Grammy Award-Winner Lynn Anderson Teams Up With International Artist Cerrito For A Duet Full Of Romance

share
Nashville, TE (Top40 Charts/ Cerrito Official Website) - Country music legend, Lynn Anderson, took some time out of her whirlwind trip to Nashville to share the studio with internationally renowned entertainer, Cerrito.

During her busy schedule of several television appearances and the Nashville Rose Society's Music Garden dedication on September 29th, Lynn and Cerrito recorded the song, 'I'll Hold You In My Heart,' which will be on Cerrito's upcoming album.
'Lynn is truly una rosa preciosa (one precious rose). Words could never explain how magical it was recording a duet with her. Singing in Spanish with Lynn was a heartfelt experience. She truly is amazing as an artist and not to mention a wonderful person,' smiles Cerrito.

This song, originally sung by Elvis Presley in 1969, was written by Eddy Arnold, Hal Horton and Tommy Dilbeck. Cerrito's upcoming duets album, Cerrito y Las Chicas de Country (Cerrito and the Girls of Country) also features country songbirds Pam Tillis, Lorrie Morgan, The Lynns, Lane Brody, Stella Parton, Jett Williams (daughter of country music icon Hank Williams) and contemporary country artist Elizabeth Cook.

Cerrito has worked with notables including international 'cuchi cuchi' diva (entertainer, guitarist and actress) Charo, the queen of country music Loretta Lynn, and two-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year Janie Fricke. He recently performed at the 5th Annual Fall Fiesta Dinner & Auction show benefiting the Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee.

Lynn Anderson's music career boomed with Rose Garden, topping the Adult Contemporary, Country and Pop Billboard charts in the early seventies. She had seventeen Gold/Platinum albums, five number one singles, and thirty-four Top 20 Singles to her credit. Lynn was the first female country artist to do the Tonight Show circuit, as well as the first to headline and sellout Madison Square Garden in 1974. The American Rose Society also named a beautiful hybrid tea rose (cream finely edged with pink) after Lynn.
