Since that time, Williams has been busy. "I've come a long way since that 19 year old girl that packed up my Ford Escort and moved from Detroit to Nashville, only knowing 2 people here,' explains Williams. Williams has come a long way, having spent the last five years accomplishing exactly what she set out to do when she made the decision to move to Nashville; Williams has been writing, performing, recording (she has released three successful albums, including her latest offering Lovers & Liars) and she's made some great friends in the process.
And that is the idea behind Williams' upcoming Five Year Anniversary Show - celebrating her five years in Nashville. From everything that has happened so far to all of the people she has met from the time she set foot in Music City until now, 'I want to use this night to spotlight and give thanks to the influential talent & supportive friends I've made in this town over the years!' continues Williams.
The 'friends' Williams is referring to is the celebrated cast of Nashville talent that will be joining her for her Five Year Anniversary Show at The Listening Room. The confirmed list of singer/songwriters, recording artists and other key industry figures set to join Williams on November 10th include: Lisa Carver (Sugarland, Jewel), Bonnie Baker (SHeDAISY, Reba McEntire), Wood Newton (David Ball, Oak Ridge Boys), Angela Kaset (Lorrie Morgan, Wynonna Judd), Tim Buppert (Kevin Sharp), Marcia Ramirez (Jo Dee Messina), Vickie Carrico, producer Kim Copeland, Ronnie Kimball and Joe Spivey with the possibility of more!
