Kenny Chesney's "Come Over" Races To Gold In Record Time
Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) With Kenny's Chesney's "Come Over," climbing to #2 this week on the Country Singles Charts, the song has been certified Gold, with sales in excess of 500,000. Reaching this milestone in just over 9 weeks marks the fastest Gold Single certification in Chesney's career. From 'Welcome to the Fishbowl,' which sits at #2 on Billboard's Top Country Album Chart, the 'Fishbowl' has already yielded the Top 10 song, "Feel Like A Rock Star."

Written by Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne and Sam Hunt, Chesney says, '"Come Over' is one of the most emotionally universal songs I've ever recorded. When you break up with someone, you don't break up all at once. You break up over time. And that's the thread of the song. Letting go is hard."

The 'Brothers of the Sun' Tour with Chesney and Tim McGraw made an emotional stop at Denver's sold out Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium. Kenny took a moment before "I Go Back" to address Friday's tragedy in Aurora, saying, "Me and my road family are just like the rest of the nation, hurting with this city tonight. We love you, and we're with you, and if you guys will let us, we want to let music start to heal this town just a little bit tonight."

Kenny said to the crowd, "After last year, three nights in this town, we couldn't wait to get back. We thank you for all the love you give us. God bless you for loving music!" Later in the show, he referenced John Fox and Peyton Manning as he introduced "Boys of Fall," and they walked on stage to an ovation that was deafening.
Next weekend the tour takes on Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis and Browns Stadium in Cleveland.
