Miranda Lambert announced Friday on Good Morning America that her new album, Four The Record, will be released November 1 (11.1.11) on Columbia Nashville. Lambert's fourth album will be the follow up to her platinum certified, CMA and ACM Album of the Year, Revolution, which yielded the Number One Singles, "White Liar," "The House That Built Me," and "Heart Like Mine," and the Top 10 "Only Prettier."
Four The Record will build upon the foundation of her three previous platinum albums and showcase her evolution as songwriter and vocalist. "'Four The Record' has so many meanings," explains Lambert. "I love the play on words and my records always have a little crime in them and this is the fourth record of my career. This album pushes the limits for me in many ways and I collaborate with friends and heroes. It builds on my previous albums with a whole new flair. 'For The Records' sake, don't forget 11/1/11."
Pistol Annies, the trio featuring Lambert and singer songwriters Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley performed their song "Hell On Heels" on Good Morning America's Summer Concert Series this morning. "Hell On Heels" is the title track to their 10 song album which will be released August 23 at all digital retailers and the CD will be available at www.pistolannies.com. The pre-order is available now.
