Nashville Gets Shipwrecked At Locash Wine Release Party
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Set against the backdrop of a beautiful sunset, LOCASH played an acoustic set of some of their best-loved singles, including the wine's namesake song, "Shipwrecked," and mingled with the more than 70 VIP guests who attended. LOCASH credited Jon Ozor, owner of Stonum Vineyards with making the wine a reality and playing a tremendous part of their recent success. In honor of Jon's efforts, LOCASH presented him with a solid bronze, single-edition Stetson hat. After playing their set, LOCASH spent more than two hours with guests, entertaining them with stories of making the wine, providing wine tasting tips, and signing dozens of empty Shipwrecked Sauvignon Blanc bottles as souvenirs of the incredibly successful launch.

Handcrafted in partnership with Stonum Vineyards' winemaker Michael Stonum and Ozor, Shipwrecked is made using a labor intensive, old world style only known to one other wine label in the world. Using grapes sourced from only the highest quality single vineyards of northern California, the label's springtime debut, a Sauvignon Blanc, is now available at shipwreckedwines.com.

LOCASH is slated to release a Cabernet blend, Chardonnay, old vine Zifandel and Syrah over the next two years. "We have always been huge wine guys," said the duo's Preston Brust."It was really exciting to get to share this product that we've put so much hard work into with all of our friends here in Music City - we had a blast."

Named for one of LOCASH's forthcoming new songs, the duo says Shipwrecked is a state of mind. "Whether you're 'shipwrecked' on an island in literal terms, 'shipwrecked' at your job, in a relationship or some other way in your personal life, things can always be made better by great friends, great music and great wine," said Chris Lucas. The duo's current single "I Love This Life," is currently climbing the country radio charts, and is available for download on iTunes now.
