Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ 1720 Ent. LLC) - Rising country star, Rissi Palmer will join fellow songwriters Rick Beresford, Deanna Walker, Sarah Majors and Dave Smith for an acoustic writers round at Edgehill Cafe on Tuesday, April 1. The event is part of Nashville's Tin Pan South, one of America's largest music festivals celebrating songs and songwriters. Showtime begins at 9pm. Tickets are $7 at the door.

At age 20, Palmer was signed to her first publishing deal and quickly began establishing her reputation as a talented songwriter. She has written with some of Nashville's finest writers including Angela Kaset, James Dean Hicks, Shaye Smith and more. She also had a hand in writing nine songs featured on her self-titled debut CD for 1720 Entertainment, including the chartbreaking "Country Girl" and her latest release, "Hold On To Me."

"I'm so honored to be part of this celebration for songwriters! I am so grateful to have a chance to share the stage with writers that have shared not only their songs with me, but have taught me so much about sharing your own truth through songs. This is going to be a fun show."

Tin Pan South is produced by the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) and is a legislative fundraiser in support of NSAI's efforts in Congress. Each year, several hundred songwriters perform approximately 100 shows over the course of the week. Over the past 14 years, the festival has featured numerous gifted songwriters, including Shawn Colvin, Art Garfunkel, Rodney Crowell, Townes Van Zandt, Garth Brooks, Jimmy Webb, Dierks Bentley, Gordon Lightfoot, Donna Summer, Melissa Manchester, Loretta Lynn, America, Carole King, Butch Walker, Lisa Loeb and Kenny Loggins - just to name a few.
