Clark, one of the few female artists whose guitar chops are worthy of being included with some of Fender's best, is thrilled. 'For as long as I can remember, the guitar has been like my right arm. I started playing at a very young age, even before I took up singing. It has been my compadre and the first thing I look to when I need a friend. I truly believe I may not have achieved what I have if I had not been a player. I accompanied myself through every live label and publishing audition and played for tips so I could buy bread and milk when I first moved to Nashville .'
