ROCHESTER, NY (DALMATH ASSOCIATES INC./ www.rochesterjazz.com) - We're back! The Rochester International Jazz Festival returns to Rochester, New York June 10-18, 2005, welcoming jazz enthusiasts from around the world for more than nine days of extraordinary and diverse music.

'The 4th Rochester International Jazz Festival (RIJF) will host unique musical talent from around the world at 100-plus concerts in venues in and around Rochester,' said John Nugent, founder, Artistic Director and Producer, who is currently planning the 2005 artist lineup. 'We will feature headliner shows at the Eastman Theatre, free concerts showcasing Eastman School of Music faculty and students, and a wide array of club performances. And once again, we will transform Gibbs Street into ‘Jazz Street,' a popular pedestrian walkway and stage with live music, food and drink.'

Club Passes on Sale Friday Dec. 3 - Discount for Holiday Ends January 1

The RIJF 2005 Club Pass will go on sale Friday December 3 at a limited-time special discount price for the holidays of $59 + service charge. Passes may be purchased online at www.rochesterjazz.com, at any Ticketmaster /Ticket Express outlet or online at www.ticketmaster.com. The Club Pass will increase to the regular price of $69 plus service charge January 2, 2005 through the Festival.

'Those 'in the know' who have bought the Club Pass during the past three events know what an exceptional value it offers,' said Nugent. 'It provides access to more than 100 Club Pass shows during the festival on a first-come first-served basis. Passes are limited so don't miss out - buy in advance to save and avoid disappointment. It's a great holiday gift.' Single ticket entry to Club pass shows is $15 per person per show at the door based on availability.

The Rochester International Jazz Festival has grown in attendance each year. The 2004 Festival attracted more than 55,000 music fans from across the U.S. and around the world who attended more than 100 concerts.

Artist Lineup and Major Show Tickets
The 2005 artist lineup will be announced in April 2005. Major shows by featured superstar headliners will go on sale in April at all Ticketmaster and Ticket Express Outlets and www.rochesterjazz.com and www.ticketmaster.com.
