Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts / Miles Ahead Entertainment) Sunday, February 13, THE DREAM CENTER, twelve time GRAMMY(R) Award Nominee Kirk Whalum and Victory University are hosting "IT STARTED WITH A DREAM." In celebration of this year's Gospel GRAMMY(R) Nominees, the event is a pre awards ceremony, concert and service honoring the nominees and benefiting THE DREAM CENTER'S PROJECT HOPE. "IT STARTED WITH A DREAM" will feature live performances by GRAMMY(R) Nominees: Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Jeff & Sheri Easter, Forever Jones, Gungor, Israel Houghton Lecrae, VaShawn Mitchell, Karen Peck & New River, Lalah Hathaway and Kirk Whalum with special guest George Duke.

The event is FREE and open to all that can attend. The concert performances will be STREAMING LIVE on the web at DreamCenterLive.com. The viewing cost is $4.99 and the proceeds benefit the Project Hope, which provides a restoration home for immediate care to those rescued from human trafficking.

KIRK WHALUM

Saxophonist Kirk Whalum has been a recording artist for 25 years and has over 25 solo recordings to date. He has received numerous awards including twelve GRAMMY(R) nominations (four this year which include two for his most current releases: The Gospel According to Jazz, Chapter III and Everything Is Everything: The Music of Donny Hathaway), two Dove Award nominations, a NAACP Image Awards nomination, and he has won two Stellar Awards.
