(Nasdaq: ATVI) revealed today that the soundtrack to the most anticipated game of the year, Treyarch's Call of Duty: Black Ops, will also be available for download starting November 9th. Featuring the music of renowned film composer, Sean Murray, the digital-only soundtrack includes 30 tracks available through iTunes and other major digital media retailers.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops soundtrack, part of a digital distribution agreement between Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) and Fontana, the award-winning independent sales, marketing and distribution division of Universal Music Group, will be available for purchase online for a retail price of $11.99 per entire soundtrack or $.99 per track.
Sean Murray, one of the entertainment industry's most esteemed musical talents, reunites with Treyarch for the Call of Duty: Black Ops soundtrack, an encore to his Call of Duty: World at War composition.
Rated "M" (Mature Blood, Drug Reference, Intense Violence and Language) by the ESRB, Call of Duty: Black Ops is scheduled to be released worldwide on November 9th for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation3 computer entertainment system, Nintendo Wii and Windows PC.
