New York, NY (Top40 Charts) SHEL have announced the upcoming release of Just Crazy Enough, the second full length record from the Nashville-based band of sisters. Produced by Dave Stewart (best known for his work with the Eurythmics), the album features the captivating harmonies and intriguing rhythms that are emblematic of SHEL's inventive songwriting. Just Crazy Enough will be released on May 13th.

The group has also shared their video for the song "Rooftop", which was directed and self-produced by SHEL while on tour in Europe. It is now streaming via Baeble Music. Lead vocalist Eva Holbrook explains their inspiration for the video's concept: The first few lines for this song dropped from my lips on a rooftop in Los Angeles. Theres an exciting energy and perspective above the streets of any city. It reminds us that we can follow our dreams up the back stairway, ignoring the Do Not Enter sign, and arrive at the place we were told was out of reach.

On Just Crazy Enough, SHEL have the perfect creative foils to capture their effervescent mashup of influences with co-producer & engineer Brent Maher and Charles Yingling, with whom they recorded at The Blue Room in Nashville. But they also found a kindred spirit in Stewart, who co-produced the album and added programming, synths and percussion. He relates, I fell in love with the idea of SHEL a year ago and working with these 4 sisters has been nothing short of a musical love-fest. These ladies will become close to your heart from the minute you hear the first few bars, and once you see them live they inhabit a part of of your brain, make a nest there, and theyre there to stay."

The four sisters of SHEL have amassed a loyal fanbase due to a defiantly DIY approach marked by tireless touring and genre-twisting music that wears its heart on its sleeve. Raised on an abandoned trailer park that the family restored and turned into a farm, the they had an unconventional and imaginative upbringing in the foothills of Fort Collins, Colorado. Each found an instrument to master early on, studying classical music while composing and arranging with Sarah on violin, Hannah on piano, Eva on mandolin, and Liza on drums, djembe and beatboxing. Using their first initials, the band created an acronym - SHEL. Sarah, Hannah, Eva, and Liza Holbrook like to say they are "four sisters, traveling the world, tellin' tales, and sharing a dream." The band released their 2012 self-titled debut to great acclaim, and were embraced by MTV, USA Today, American Songwriter, and many more.
