The band was formed in 2013, in the city of Kaliningrad (ex-Konigsberg), Russia.
Anion Effect plays a crossover of melodic death metal with modern metal music, with lyrics in english/finnish language.

In 2014 tha band have recorded a first demos and played some shows in Russia.
