Brian Lynch & Spheres Of Influence At The Littman Theater, North Miami Beach
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The City of North Miami Beach's Muti-Cultural Committee celebrates Jazz Appreciation Month with a FREE concert featuring Grammy-winner Brian Lynch & Spheress of Influence, with special guest vocalist Kate Reid. The show will be at the Littman Theater, 17011 NE 19th Avenue, at 8 PM on April 15. Tickets are needed and can be obtained at the Parks and Recreation administration office in City Hall and, if available, at the door. For more information, call (305) 948-2957.

A vital force and emergent legend within both the hardcore straight ahead and Latin Jazz communities, Grammy© Award Winner Brian Lynch is as comfortable negotiating the complexities of clave with Afro-Caribbean pioneer Eddie Palmieri as he is swinging through advanced harmony with bebop maestro Phil Woods. A honored graduate of Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers and the Horace Silver Quintet, he has been a valued collaborator with jazz artists such as Toshiko Akiyoshi and Charles McPherson; Latin music icons as diverse as Hector LaVoe and Lila Downs; and pop luminaries such as Prince. He won the 2007 Grammy for Best Latin Jazz CD and three additional nominations, including 2017.
