LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Dawbell PR) "Sometimes you don't recognize the full power of a voice until you strip everything away from it. Such was the case with Chris Cornell's drop dead great show at Town Hall last night....the approach served to reveal both the full force, and the utter control, of his singing… as well as how rare his timbre remains"- New York Daily News

"Cornell...carried the entire show with ease, demonstrating just how capable he is of commanding a stage all by himself. He was an absolute powerhouse, belting out songs with a voice that rocked the rafters" - Seattle Post-Intelligencer

"The two-hour, nearly two-dozen-song performance was a master class in the fine art of solo performance…he wove tender folk-tinged ballads, hard-rock torch songs, and soaring anthems into a cohesive whole, telling a few tales in between, 'Storytellers'-style" - Boston Globe

"It was a powerful concert, gathering momentum and evoking more emotion as it progressed" - Boston Herald

Grunge icon Chris Cornell is excited to announce a set of European 'Songbook' dates this Summer. Fans in the UK and across Europe will get the chance to see Chris perform unplugged, up close and personal.

The much-anticipated acoustic 'Songbook' tour provides fans with an intimate "Storytellers" like setting where Cornell easily interacts with his audience and shares insights about his music. Cornell states, "Songbook was created for my fans".

The tour will kick off in Dublin on June 13th after Soundgarden's second to headline slot at Download Festival on Sunday 10th June. The 'Songbook' tour highlights Chris Cornell's entire catalogue, including Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog. Familiar songs emerge in a new context that showcases the depth and breadth of Chris Cornell's songwriting talents.

Ranked as "one of the best voices in music history", Cornell has successfully maintained his own unique identity over more than two decades as a multi-Grammy award winning musician, Golden Globe nominee and universally acclaimed singer, songwriter and lyricist.

Chris Cornell released 'Songbook' last year to wide critical acclaim. The album includes the song 'The Keeper' which was nominated for a Golden Globe award in 2012.
