Burnsville, MN. (Top40 Charts/ OarFin Distribution) - Arizona-based metal band F5 will be releasing their sophomore effort, 'The Reckoning,' August 19th via OarFin Distribution. The album was produced by Ryan Greene and reveals a deeper, more complex sound than the band's 2005 debut, 'A Drug For All Seasons.'
'We went into the recording process for 'The Reckoning' with a clear-cut mission,' said bassist David Ellefson (ex-Megadeth). 'The mission was to make a powerhouse metal record that showcases the world-class playing of F5 while continuing to build upon our melodic abilities.'
Staying true to their style of crafting heavy-but-melodic hooks, F5's hard-hitting new disc is, according to Ellefson, 'a natural progression for the band.'
