Ice Nine Kills Release "The Product Of Hate" For Boston Victims

LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Earshot Media) Boston, MA metalcore band Ice Nine Kills released a new single entitled "The Product of Hate" available exclusively at bandcamp for a limited 1-week download. All the proceeds from the song will be donated to the people affected by the Boston Marathon bombings.

"The lyrics of this song seemed so relevant to what had happened in Boston on the 15th," says vocalist Spencer Charnas. "Being from Boston, this made the tragedy hit really close to home. We figured this could be a great way to spread an important message and raise some money for the victims and their families in the process."

Ice Nine Kills reached #9 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart and #38 on the Independent Label chart in January with the release of the their EP The Predator. The EP was completely crowd funded via the band's Kickstarter campaign, which grossed $21,258 (more than double their $10,000 goal). The Predator also hit iTunes Rock chart at #15 and appeared as Revolver Magazine's Album of the Week upon release.

The band is currently in the studio recording their next full-length album and can be seen on the road leading up to the Vans Warped Tour.
