Jay Rush Jennings Joins Shaliek Rivers For "I Dont Wanna Be Famous" Tour
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ BYNUM Agency) R&B singer Jay Rush Jennings has been added to Shaliek Rivers "I Dont Want To Be Famous" Tour. Jay Rush will be the opening act for the tour which kicks off on March 28 in Philadelphia, Pa.

The Toledo, Ohio native has been busy preparing for his upcoming EP RUSH, which is due out this summer. "FLOAT", the current single off RUSH has been gaining momentum online throughout the last few weeks.

From the very beginning of his life, music has been a part of Jay Rush's soul. He was born Johnathan Jennings on January 24, 1982 in Toledo Ohio to a musically gifted family. His singing career began when members of his family (including his brother, platinum-selling R&B/Soul singer Lyfe Jennings) formed a group called The Dotsons. As Jay Rush grew older, his life took a turn from music to the streets. Those same streets are credited for making him a man, and that is what he sings. The musical influences of Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway, Sam Cooke, and 2Pac Shakur, helped Jay Rush to develop his own musical genre called "Street Soul".
