The band's anthemic new album, THE SOUND OF MADNESS, shot in at number eight on the Billboard 200 album chart this week.
It marked the biggest debut of their career today, and their first Top 10 album.
'We put a lot of work into this record,' commented lead singer Brent Smith.
'I was determined from the beginning to make an album that people would feel was important to them and the world around them. I know we've accomplished that, and it seems that not only our longtime fans but a lot of new fans are reacting to what they're hearing. We're very thankful for that.'
