Vardis Sign Management Contract With Rock'N'Growl Promotion
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Hard Rock/NWOBHM (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal) band VARDIS have signed a management contract with German ROCK'N'GROWL PROMOTION. The band's comeback album, "Red Eye", was released in 2016 via SPV/Steamhammer.

Guitarist and singer Steve Zodiac about the signing: "I want to thank everyone who's worked with us at Hoplite Records for their ability to forge success in difficult circumstances over the last two years. We have some very exciting new projects to bring you, so it's great news for the band to have Axel and the RnG team behind us. VARDIS are ready to Rock'N'Growl!"

Axel Wiesenauer, Owner at Rock'N'Growl, adds: "I am a fan of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal since the end of the 70s and proud to work together with one of the real and true pioneers of the NWOBHM! VARDIS has a unique musical brand and the band is ready to rock!"

VARDIS was forged out of glam, punk, heavy metal, blues and rock 'n' roll in the crucible of 1970s northern England. They are a product of rock music across three generations: inspired by the great rockers and electric bluesmen of the '50s and '60s, learning their trade rubbing shoulders with the young guns of hard rock and punk in the '70s, and achieving prominence in the '80s as part of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal. The hard, ferocious attack of their sound directly influenced the development of thrash and speed metal across North America and Europe, cited by metal giants such as METALLICA and MEGADETH. Never losing sight of the melodic, boogie sensibilities of their earliest influences, the VARDIS brand of hard rock retains a unique heavy groove, and has endured as truly original.
