When All Else Fails Cover Ariana Grande's "One Last Time"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The New York rock band When All Else Fails has taken a stab at Top 40 radio with a cover of Ariana Grande's recent hit "One Last Time". The group tackled the track with their own touch of melodic hardcore.

"From the second we heard the original song we wanted to cover it," says drummer Jimmy Aquafredda. "Just after the first listen I was definitely hooked... humming the chorus... coming up with my own patterns and rhythms behind it. Minutes later I realized we had to cover this and make it our own. It was extremely important to us that while we want to put the WAEF touch on this cover, we need to preserve the key elements that make this song so good. I think we did a good job at that and anyone whose heard our rendition has loved it. We know everyone else will feel the same way once they give it a listen."

About When All Else Fails:

NYC's When All Else Fails wear their hearts on their sleeves while dishing out their emotional brand of extreme music. The band's first single "Agree to Disagree" is a raging, anthemic slab of heavy, metallic hardcore. Powerful and lyrical, it is a pointed introduction to the band's philosophy of destroying life's sometimes overwhelming obstacles. The band recently shot a music video for the new single, filmed and directed by Tony Hanson of Fenix Studios.

Breaking down barriers is something vocalist Rich Canci has been fighting for almost every day of his 23 years on this planet. A 5-time cancer survivor and amputee, Canci's single-minded drive manifests itself in his charity work and live event promotions, all while finding time to tend bar and graduate from nursing school. This seeming one-man army doesn't do all the heavy lifting in When All Else Fails, though. Alongside Rich is Kayla Aquafredda, whose clean vocal work provides a lush counterpoint to Canci's hardcore vocal delivery. Couple their voices with the melodic leads of guitarist James Kenny and the driving rhythmic backbone of Matt Skjeie (guitar), and James Aquafredda (drums) and you've got the recipe for your new favorite band.

When All Else Fails' debut EP, Stepping Stones, is as loud as it is bad ass. It's an exercise of the band's melodic hardcore approach while still cultivating a pop sensibility. As the first single from Stepping Stones, "Agree to Disagree" is an incredible first volley in their campaign for world dominance.
Okay, the band demands that you stop reading and start listening. Immerse yourself in their world...
