Meet Etta Milford. Loving Wife. Doting Mother. Armed Robber. When Etta's husband blows their nest-egg on ill-conceived inventions, she secretly decides to take "investment" matters into her own hands and things quickly go awry. Their savings gone, her husband suspicious, and their children out of control, Etta concocts a scheme of unexpected proportion to get back their money and save her family. There are just a few things she has to do first, including blackmailing the sheriff, and holding up the grocery store before little league practice.

LeAnn Rimes said, 'I felt emotionally I could really dig my teeth into this and show what I could do.'

Says LeAnn Rimes, 'I've been wanting to act. Its just been finding the right thing. And Good Intentions was the right thing at the right time. It was the right script.'

Directed by Jim Issa, the film marks the feature film debut of Atlanta-based film production company, Shadowlight Pictures headed by Producers Pamela Peacock and Richard Sampson. They are partnering with Camp C.O.P.E., a charity supporting children of wounded or fallen soldiers. Camp C.O.P.E. is one of ten select non-profits to be highlighted at Oprah's "Live Your Best Life" weekend in New York May 5-7th. Other charitable organizations supported include: The National Psoriasis Foundation, In Defense of Animals, and Cystanosis Research Network.

Good Intentions contains two of LeAnn Rimes' songs, including Grammy nominated, 'Nothin' Better to Do.' The soundtrack also includes The Wrights, The Lovell Sisters and Pieta Brown. A variety of high-profile companies such as eBay, SPANX and Sweetwater Brewery joined with the film as promotional and product placement sponsors.

Good Intentions was a Top 50 Project Greenlight script, a participant in the Sundance Producer's Conference and the IFP Narrative Rough Cut Film Lab.
