(Top40 Charts/ CineMedia Promotions) - Lakeshore Records will release the original soundtrack for SURROGATES, available digitally (iTunes and Amazon Digital) on November 10th and in stores on November 24, 2009. Richard Marvin (U-571, TV's Three Rivers and Without a Trace) composed the score.
SURROGATES marks the fourth collaboration between director Jonathan Mostow and composer Richard Marvin - the first three were U-571, Flight of Black Angel, and Breakdown. Marvin was a top studio pianist playing for composers including Maurice Jarre, Jerry Goldsmith, and John Williams.
In the 1980s, he worked with Mike Post who gave Marvin the opportunity to compose for The A-Team and Hardcastle & McCormick. Marvin's television work also includes Six Feet Under, In Treatment, Without A Trace, and the new series Three Rivers.
