New Switchfoot Recording On Elektra Film Soundtrack

BRENTWOOD, TN. (Sparrow Records) - Switchfoot has contributed a new recording to the soundtrack for ELEKTRA, the latest action movie starring Jennifer Garner (Alias). The band joins a line-up of other top alternative rock acts on the release including Evanescence, Jet, and The Donnas.

For the project, Switchfoot offers a new version of "Sooner Or Later," a song originally recorded on its 1999 album, NEW WAY TO BE HUMAN, a project that is now available as part of the band's value-priced three-disc box set, THE EARLY YEARS: 1997-2000.

In related news, Switchfoot's breakthrough newest release, THE BEAUTIFUL LETDOWN, was recently certified double platinum and now features five No 1 songs: "Meant To Live," "Dare You To Move," "More Than Fine," "Gone," and the current Christian Hit Radio chart-topper "This Is Your Life."
