The Quaker City Night Hawks Announce New Shows: Loufest, Viva Big Band Festival, And A West Coast Run With The Sheepdogs
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) This summer, Ft. Worth's "gang of sci-fi-obsessed ZZ Top superfans" (noisey) extends its tour to the West Coast to play shows supporting The Sheepdogs. The band also will now perform at Alpine, TX's Viva Big Bend Festival in July and Loufest in St. Louis, MO, in September after joining Chris Stapleton again at New Braunfels, TX's River Road Ice House. This is all on top of the band's two Texas residencies in July at San Antonio's Sam's Burger Joint and Austin's The Continental Club.

The Night Hawks are touring in support of 'El Astronauta' (Lightning Rod Records / Thirty Tigers), which counts the likes of Marc Maron and NPR as fans. Having already played shows with Stapleton, Leon Bridges, Lucero, Whiskey Myers, and more, this band is well seasoned to put on a raucous live set, combining sci-fi and Southern blues rock for a performance you won't want to miss.
