NEW YORK, NY (Rykodisc) - All Saints Records, in conjunction with Hannibal Records, will release the CD "Compounds And Elements," an 18-track introduction to All Saints Records. The disc features a selection of works covering the label's releases to date, showcasing its unparalleled roster of artists and its unmatched variety of genres including ambient, world, electronic and minimalist. From Brian Eno and John Cale to Roger Eno and Harold Budd, to new artists Vacabou and Marconi Union, while sonically diverse, they all approach music from a new and original perspective. This is what marks them as "All Saints artists."

All Saints Records was formed in 1991 by Dominic Norman-Taylor who has been responsible for all signings since. The philosophy of the label focuses on a consistency of approach rather than any specific genre. Its first releases were from Opal/Land Records, (now a management company representing Brian Eno) and included albums by John Cale and Brian Eno. Norman-Taylor has continued to build upon those initial releases and has received many accolades over the years including "Album of the Year" for Harold Budd's "Luxa in The Sunday Times." Music from All Saints Records has also appeared in many advertisements and films, for example Nissan, Japan Railways and recently "The Jacket."

Norman-Taylor says of the label, "All Saints Records is about what I like to listen to and I find a large number of people have similar tastes. I want to get the best from each artist as they are thoroughbreds in their own fields. All Saints is vigorously reaching out to new artists while remaining engaged with its current acts. Vacabou and Marconi Union are excellent additions to the label and I still can't believe no one else signed them up!"

All of the individual albums that "Compounds And Elements" samples from are available in the U.S. Most have been extensively re-packaged and feature unreleased bonus tracks and new artwork that is a continuation of the unique All Saints Records aesthetic.

"Compounds And Elements" will be sold for a special low suggested retail price of less than three dollars and will also be available as a full-album digital download from leading digital retailers at a special low price.

Dominic Norman-Taylor and Roger Eno are available for interviews.
