New York (Top40 Charts/ REED MIDEM) - For the third year running, MidemTalent is promoting up and coming artists with strong export potential. From 24-26 January, thirteen pop/rock, electro, world music and jazz artists and bands will perform on stage at the Hotel Carlton for professionals attending MIDEM and the public of Cannes.
British performers Wayne Beckford, King Charles and The Black Swan Effect; French rockers Plastiscines; Irish singer-songwriter and Mercury Awards nominee
Lisa Hannigan; and French pop group Diving with Andy, nominated for the Prix Constantin 2009, are just a few of the artists lined up for MidemTalent 2010. Also appearing is Swiss singer-songwriter, pianist and guitar player
Sophie Hunger, as well as Armenian pianist Tigran Hamasyan.
'The artists who will be appearing as part of MidemTalent 2010 have already embarked upon successful careers in their respective countries.
