Many thanks to the band, Nu-Blu for reaching out to the Garner Educational Foundation and to the youth in the Garner area to offer this amazing arts opportunity.

This award winning Bluegrass music comes to Garner Auditorium as Mountain Music Entertainment brings Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice and Karl Shiflett and Big Country Show to the Triangle. Nu-Blu, an international touring Bluegrass group and the Carolina Music Awards "2010 Country Band of the Year", will host the evening that is sure to be filled with great music. The event will be held at the Historic Garner Auditorium. Tickets are on-sale now for the show.

This is a rare opportunity to see three national touring bluegrass bands in one evening for only $21.00 per ticket.

Junior Sisk has lived most of his life in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia where he listened to and played the music that was born there. His songwriting helped The Lonesome River Band in its ascent to bluegrass stardom in the early 1990's. Subsequently, he assembled Ramblers Choice, which released the acclaimed "Sounds of the Mountains" in 1998, and contributed to the IBMA award winning "The Stanley Gospel Tradition". He has charted numerous times with his songs and is one of the most in demand top bluegrass performers of today.

"The Garner Auditorium has a great history of offering live bluegrass shows. This event is just a way to offer an additional opportunity for those with a love for live bluegrass to get a little more of it in a family friendly environment." said Daniel Routh of Nu-Blu.

Best known for their highly entertaining "Retro" stage show The Karl Shiflett & Big Country Show have captured seemingly with ease, the irrepressible bounce and down-home, audience pleasing, good-natured sound of Classic Country & Bluegrass acts of the 1940's and 1950's. Hailing from Texas, a state with a rich musical heritage, they have managed to insert their own unique perspective, cultivating a sound that has brought them acclaim as one of the most identifiable and recognizable names in bluegrass music.
