New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ New Music Seminar Official Website) The New Music Seminar (NMS) www.NewMusicSeminar.com, announces its return to New York City this coming June 17 through June 19, featuring partnerships with SoundExchange and BMI. Emerging new music business leader iHeartRadio will also join NMS for two and a half days of intensive seminars and networking. NMS is the must-attend industry conference for the rapidly evolving and diversifying new music industry.

NMS also announces Clear Channel CEO Bob Pittman as NMS Keynote Speaker. Pittman was instrumental in working with the team that developed Clear Channel's new iHeartRadio digital radio platform, a leader in reinventing the digital radio experience.

This year's revamped NMS conference will feature the SoundExchange Digital Broadcast Summit and the BMI Creative Conclave.

The SoundExchange Digital Broadcasting Summit will highlight growth opportunities in digital music broadcasting. The Summit will bring together leaders from across the digital music streaming landscape including iHeartRadio, Pandora, Spotify, hundreds of webcasters and all of the on-line music and video exposure vehicles. Participants will discuss business models, challenges and innovative solutions in developing, monetizing, and promoting their platforms. The summit will connect this exploding new media with the artists, managers and labels that are fueling this "streaming" revolution.

Also in partnership with NMS's 2012 event will be the BMI Creative Conclave, featuring top artists, songwriters and producers who are breaking music and careers through innovative approaches, practices and partnerships in this challenging new music environment. How do creators create differently for an audience that is interacting with music in entirely new ways?

New Music Seminar brings together key music, technology, radio, venture capital, advertising agency, brand executives, artists, managers, producers, songwriters, booking agents, venues, and promoters. The event will offer high-level industry keynotes, discussions "Movements", NMS 18-minute intensives, workshops, closed-door meetings and networking opportunities.

NMS founder Tom Silverman explains, "The music industry is celebrating the end of a ten-year slide and a re-emergence into a new era of growth based on technologies that could never have been anticipated a decade ago. The New Music Seminar is the epicenter of this new movement. NMS is the creative crucible where new ideas are hatched and new collaborations formed. The New Music Seminar is a meeting of the architects of the next music business; the creators, the investors, the technological visionaries who understand that there is nothing that will not be changed by this music industry revolution."

Companies like iHeartRadio, Pandora, Spotify, Sirius XM, Google, Facebook, YouTube, and Apple have radically transformed the music business. Likewise, creators of the content - both established and emerging artists and labels - are reaching and expanding their fan base in ways never before possible. What will be the next companies to disrupt the status quo and create opportunities and challenges that we cannot yet imagine? The New Music Seminar will explore these new businesses and the new paradigms that make them possible.
