Reviver Records Retains In-House Promotion Department
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) REVIVER RECORDS announces the addition of industry veterans Gator Michaels (Senior Vice President), David Shaw (National Director of Promotion), Kim Stephens (Regional Southwest / Midwest Promotion) and Amara Hall (Regional Southeast Promotion) to its in-house radio promotion department. Skip Bishop's consultancy firm, Studio1Bee, will serve as Reviver's Executive Advisor.

With over 25 years of experience in country radio and records, Michaels will head up the Reviver Records promo department backing Reviver artists LOCASH ("I Love This Life"), Blackjack Billy ("Why God Made Summertime") and Lucas Hoge ("Halabamalujah").

After a decade-long radio career as an on-air personality, program director, music director and promotions director, Michaels served as the GM for Young-Olsen & Associates and the Vice President of Promotion at Dreamcatcher Entertainment prior to joining Warner Bros. Nashville where he obtained the role of Senior Vice President. During that time, he was involved in the careers of Faith Hill, Randy Travis, Michelle Branch, Kid Rock, The Eagles, John Michael Montgomery, Tracy Lawrence, Blake Shelton, Big & Rich, The Wreckers and James Otto. In 2010, Michaels went on to lead Davis Music Group as Executive Vice President/General Manager before founding his own promotions company, Instigator Entertainment, in 2011. He then became Vice President of Blaster Records in 2012 , helping to garner Top 40 hits for Aaron Lewis, Montgomery Gentry and Chuck Wicks.

Shaw worked for fifteen years (from 1991 to 2006) in radio promotion for some of the top pop music artists of the time, before moving to Category 5 Records where his roster included Travis Tritt, George Jones and Jerrod Niemann. In more recent years he served as VP of Promotion at Ride Records behind artists like Steve Azar and Glen Templeton. His move to R&J Records led him to work with Reviver Records' duo LOCASH, as well as Aaron Lewis and Andy Gibson. He brings over 20 years of experience to the Reviver team.

Stephens has served as a record executive for four decades, honing his skills in the areas of radio promotion, marketing and A&R. Throughout his 40-year long career, he has been involved in the breaking and signing of top pop radio artists Rob Thomas, Matchbox Twenty, Edwin McCain, Collective Soul, Kid Rock, Jewel, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, among others.

Hall, who joins as Regional Southeast Promotions Representative for Reviver Records, comes from WorldSpace studios in Washington, D.C. There, she provided satellite radio service to Africa, Asia and the Middle East, and acted as assistant Music Director to the late industry veteran, Pamela Hall "Lady Riff." Hall also completed an internship at the CRB, where she met Skip Bishop, and was appointed Senior Executive Assistant to Bishop as part of HitShop Records in January 2013. Having worn many hats as a promo coordinator, event planner, manager and so on, she brings her arsenal of know-how and genuine excitement in her new role.

Reviver founder and President/CEO David Ross said, "When I started Reviver Records, my intention all along was to have our own in-house promotion staff. You take the necessary baby steps to grow the business... slowly and methodically. With the help of others, you get to that point where it becomes necessary to bring on your own people to get you to the next level and beyond. Now, I have my dream team in place, with more to come. My primary focus is to give my artists the shot they so richly deserve for success. Period."

Reviver Records, LLC, based in New Jersey, opened its Nashville operation on December 1, 2014 after successfully launching the Let Us In Nashville and Let Us In Americana projects, which achieved tremendous grassroots success worldwide.

This week, flagship country artist LOCASH celebrated its first No. 1 on SiriusXM The Highway's Hot 45 Countdown this weekend with "I Love This Life." For more information on Reviver Records, visit https://www.revivermusic.com/.
