Stunning New Album From Leeds Based BBC Radio 2 Favourites
New York, NY (Top40 Chart) Introducing The Seagulls and their forthcoming LP 'Blood Orange' released on 21st August 2017. The band consists of three brothers who have been producing music together from a very young age giving that raw, live sound which has become an integral part of their recording process. After the release of their debut album 'Desert Eleven' they hit the road headlining major venues across the UK where they sold out shows in London, Leeds and Manchester and have now gained a dedicated following. Having written, recorded and produced the record themselves at various locations around Leeds, you can hear that they've found their sound with 'Blood Orange'.

Their last single 'Happy' was the first release from the new album and inspired the band to write and produce 'Blood Orange' in late 2016. Their new sound, labelled by fans as 'Tropical Pop', has seen the band making waves up and down the country over the last few years with their sixties inspired guitar sound. Amongst the albums floating chimes, the record tilts and turns at several points echoing those early Brit-pop and sixties influences throughout. The lead single is accompanied by a live video, filmed from various shows around the country, giving the audience an idea of the energy and charisma the band put into their live shows.

Having played regularly around the country and securing plays on local and national radio such as BBC Radio 2 and BBC Introducing, they have left their audience with great anticipation for the new release. They have also performed a live session on BBC Introducing, where they debuted new material from the album.

"You really need to see their live show! Definitely ones to watch for 2017." Dermot O'Leary - BBC Radio 2."

"We started making this record over a year ago at Eiger Studios in Leeds, tracking a few drums as demos. We really wanted to keep that raw sound so we ended up using some takes from the original sessions. The whole thing was recorded as live takes and we wanted to keep that live feel throughout." Dom Richmond - The Seagulls

"A great live band, I predict these guys will be playing the big festivals next year" - Alan Raw - BBC
