LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Make Some Noise PR) Philosopher, poet and musical luminary Adam Clark has digitally released his first ever EP A Simple Equality. A beloved face on the London music scene, Clark has stormed venues across the capital over the last five years leaving a trail of emotionally - and intellectually -enthralled fans in his wake.
A Simple Equality is released through independent record label My Fay Records. Speaking on the timing and manner of the release Clark said: "This was the culmination of years of work, and it was only when I and everyone involved felt that the tracks and the message were truly ready could we release this EP." He added "it was important to release through an independent label who understood my vision and who would allow artistic freedom to flourish."
A Simple Equality sees Clark bringing the sounds, sorrow and sophistry that made him such a hit on the gig circuit into a new medium. Drawing on influences across a musical and intellectual spectrum, including: the political charge of early Manic Street Preachers, the technical wizardry of Johnny Marr and the impassioned idealism of Joe Strummer, he has produced elegant songs that respected arts and music blog Afternyne said "go against the grain" and offer far more to the listener than "just a catchy tune or some pretty words".
