Air Supply Grooves Into The Dance World For The First Time With Their Explosive New Single 'Desert Sea Sky'
LOS ANGELES, CA. (Top40 Charts) Hey Air Supply fans - fasten your seat belts and get onto the floor!
Still a global sensation performing for audiences worldwide, the famed hitmaking duo ( www.airsupplymusic.com ) is hotter and more creative than ever as they groove into the dance/club world for the first time with their infectious new single "Desert Sea Sky."

Penned by the duo's Graham Russell , the track has received the royal studio treatment by famed UK remix wizards The Wideboys , who have created multiple remixes for promotion across the board to Billboard dance club DJs, clubs, radio stations and the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.

The Wideboys have worked their magic for scores superstar artists including Alicia Keys, Britney Spears, Enrique Iglesias, Taio Cruz featuring Kylie Minogue, Beyonce, Emeli Sandé , Miley Cyrus, Pussycat Dolls, Nelly Furtado, Usher, Ke$ha, Katy Perry, Maroon 5 and Robin Thicke .

"Desert Sea Sky," released on the Air Supply Music label, is being worked to the club market, DJs and dance radio by Brad LeBeau , founder of ProMotion , one of the most successful promo companies in the dance/ EDM (electronic dance music) genre.

Russell Hitchcock says, "It's not what you'd expect from Air Supply, but why not? We've got nothing to prove, but don't want to rest on our laurels, either."

The duo began to play the song live, and while they thought it sounded great and their fans loved it, they also felt it could use a "pulsier" groove. They met a remixer in Israel named Oren Gilat who created an original dance mix that eventually found its way to LeBeau, who immediately heard its potential and contacted The Wideboys to create a series of new mixes.

The release of "Desert Sea Sky" coincides beautifully with a great milestone in the career of Air Supply. Over 38 years after meeting in Sydney as performers in a local production of "Jesus Christ Superstar," the duo recently returned to the city and was inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association Hall of Fame at the 27 th Annual ARIA Awards on December 1 at The Star Event Centre.
