LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Criminal Records) - Last weekend, Better Without You began filming a music video for their first single, 'The Long Drive.' The band started filming in Philadelphia, and will wrap up filming next weekend in Frederick, MD. The video will closely coincide with the release of their debut EP, 'Seriously'.
Better Without You will certainly make a splash with their debut this fall. 'Seriously' is the first record to be officially released through Criminal Records. The EP will be released digitally via Criminal Records, as a completely free download from their MySpace page on October 28, 2008!
All it takes is one listen to understand what the band aims for. Front man, Ryan Braunstein, the singer and key songwriter for the band, says that the band tries to 'put a spin on pop-punk that grabs not just teenagers' attention but everyone's.'
So far they've accomplished just that. The band, which is yet to have an official release, is already generating tons of traffic on MySpace. Drummer, Brandon Weiss, notes, 'The band's music hits real emotions while striking a unique balance between seriousness and sarcasm.' Guitarrist, Myles Vlachos, claims that the band gives 'special attention to making each song stand up on its own and completely memorable.' Blend it all together with a little humor, and you've got Better Without You!
