Bone Rattling Rock From Jaw Kneecap
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Mia Mind Music) If your name is Johnny Kap, and you were born in Canada, when people in the South say your name it sounds a heck of a lot like Jaw Kneecap to your Northern ears.

Kap plays all the face melting guitar in the new power rock trio Jaw Kneecap, a progressive hard rock band that began in Simpsonville, SC, as well as being the one responsible for writing most of the songs on their debut album, Prime. His partners in crime on this project include bassist/vocalist Chris Buck and drummer Mike Leasure.

Chis has worked in the past, most notably, with guitarist Allan Holdsworth, and is endorsed by Carvin guitars. Mike, when he's not holding down the job of being one-half of the locomotive rhythm section of Jaw Kneecap, tours with The Walter Trout Band. In the past he's been the guy behind the traps with The Edgar Winter Band, and the late blues guitarist Albert Collins. Leasure also has endorsement deals with Ludwig Drums, Istanbul Agop Cymbals, and SilverFox Drumsticks.

Prime offers 9 blistering hot and heavy tracks of very visceral rock music that's tightly structured around Jaw Kneecap leader Johnny Kap's electrifying guitar work and smoldering songwriting. It's full of so many complex chord and tempo changes that it'll leave you with the impression that you've just experienced the sound of Albert Einstein's mind on acid. Mind-blowing, to say the very least.

The album was recorded and mixed by Shawn Bossick of Diamond Studios and mastered by Grammy award winning mastering engineer Adam Ayan of Gateway Mastering. Prime is slated for release May 21, 2013 on the band's eponymously titled record label. No confirmed tour dates have been announced at this time, so in the meantime you'll just have to stay tuned and/or follow this new fast and furious threesome on their Facebook page or web sites for more updates. Take our word for it, it'll be worth it.
