New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Temecula Music Fest) - The Temecula Music Fest has announced on its website www.TemeculaMusicFest.com that the submission process has begun for performers & bands wishing to be a part of the 2010 festival. In its 6th year, the Temecula Music Fest has brought amazing performances to Temecula every year since 2005. This year's event is far different in structure than any past F. This IS NOT an all day outdoor festival. These are specific 3-4 hour indoor performances put on in a "live show" format, in front of a live audience.

Friday and Saturday night at The Old Town Temecula Theater will be hosted by a live MC, interviewing bands briefly before they play their set. Each band will be playing 3 songs (9 minutes total time), showcasing their BEST original songs to a captivated audience. There are to be NO COVER SONGS! Bands will be provided with a back line of drums, 2 guitar amps, bass amp, keyboard amp as well as vocal microphones.

"Bands will be expected to be able to set up in 8 minutes or less, professional gigging bands will have no problem with this and are preferred. We are looking to showcase bands of all genres and styles; diversity of applicants is encouraged, including rock bands, hip hop, and acoustic musicians" said Bill Gould, festival founder and producer, "Sunday evening will be a free meet and greet networking event for bands, fans, press and promoters, hosted by our friends at Barley and Hops on Temecula Parkway"

"We are also thrilled to announce that a portion of the proceeds will benefit local non-profit group Joey's Pals, you can learn more about them at www.JoeysPals.org" added Gould.

Volunteers are also needed for stage help, parking lot monitors, ticket takers and ushers.

"We definitely need ushers, parking lot monitors and volunteers to help get bands on and off stage" said festival manager Jeney Kingsbury "it is a great experience you will never forget!"

The submission process has begun; performers have until June 19 2010 to submit entries to the festival. For rules and to download the entry forms visit www.TemeculaMusicFest.com.
