Yourstru.ly recently captured Caveman's "Great Life" (see HERE) in the Brooklyn studio The Rumpus Room over the summer. With acast of 9 fellow New York based drummers,Yourstru.ly created a breathtaking rendition of one of CoCo Beware'ssignature tracks. You can also hear and download 3 free MP3s of Old Man,Decideand Easy Waterat their website https://www.cavemantheband.com

Over the past year, Caveman have made an impact with their attention grabbing live shows around New York and on tours with The War on Drugs and Here We Go Magic thoughout the country. The bands live sound was described by Consequence of Sound as shifted between lolling atmospheric ditties and galloping tom-heavy compositions, with every band member contributing innumerable amounts of dreamy ideas to every song., The album's tracks come out into full life form on stage, accentuated with reverb and a fog machine to capture the dreamy lush wall of sound, combined with both drummer Stefan Marolachakis and Matt Iwanusas dueling additional drums at the front of the stage. Jimmy "Cobra" Carbonetti, Caveman's guitarist who owns Cobra Guitars in New York's East Village, has created an established reputation among guitar aficionados. See his interviews in Guitar World, New York Times' T Magazine , Spread Art Culture and his Cobra Guitars Cavehound model getting the #1 spot in the 10 coolest electric guitars in the world today feature on Music Radar. You can see another gorgeous live video from December 28 HERE shot by Jessica Amaya and Bleary Eyed Brooklyn. Caveman are eager to get back on the road, and will announce more tour dates soon, after their album celebration show at Mercury Lounge on Thursday 9/15. Full ticket and time information HERE.

Caveman's 10 song debut was produced by Nick Stumpf (French Kicks) and shows front man Matt Iwanusa's ability to craft melodies and lyrics which tackle topics of life and love, reflections on hope, joy as well as moody observations, all sung in grandiose four-part harmonies, wrapped in timeless melodies.

Matt talked about their music with Rolling Stone "We got a few dudes in the room at the same time, and we got everyone to play different drum parts. Basically a drum circle like you see in Prospect Park" about "My Room", a track about personal space and what happens when you lose it. Jimmy Cobra Carbonetti might have perfectly explained the bands energy to MTV Hive while talking about A Countrys King of Dreams, When I was a young boy, walking around New York City, I felt an energy and vibe you cant explain. It just holds you up with so much love. You come across so many inspiring moments just walking around and letting the city consume you. All the sounds and noise just blend together to a groove that you feel in your bones, loving life and turning hard situations into positive moments of growth and following your heart.
