Houston, TX. (Top40 Charts/ Charis Dondeli Official Website) - Les Cherubains has revealed the artist's impending CD, "Charis's Dreaming Tunes (The Singles)," an aptly titled release that will introduce CD addicts to the unique "tekhiprock" flavors of this project of Houston, Texas' Charis Dondeli.
Dondeli's songwriting draws heavily from retro elements, redefining them for a new and demanding generation of listeners that require cutting edge music in the realm of electronica. "I'll have to say that my musical influence comes primarily from 80s music," Dondeli admits. "I love the sound and the decade's melody."
But he also points out that his music is in no way dated or cliched. "The past looks forward to the future and the future prepares the present," he quips.
The new album will boast an eclectic yet cohesive blend of styles, he explains. "First, it starts off with an old school hip-hop style, then follows up with the amazing sound of tomorrow!"
