Cowboy Surfer Reviews Still Time 'See America' CD

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ When It Hits Records) - One of the best things in life is when you are completely surprised by something you weren't expecting that completely thrills and exhilarates the boundaries of your soul.

That is what what happened to me while listening to Still Time's new album release "See America".

Already well known for their rousing live performances and incredible song writing abilities from their debut release "Stream of Consciousness" last year, the San Luis Obispo based band has taken a quantum leap into the realm of spiritual and soulful based music with their sophomore release "See America".

The music reaches new depths in human perception, confident harmonic assaults and achieves an overall sense of wisdom, melody and intensity that burns through to the soul on many levels. If you are content with boring, stale music then Still Time might overload your senses. Then again, that might be just what you need.

From the opening track "The Fortune", you get a sense of where this musical journey is heading. A great story teller and vocalist, lead singer Dan Curcio leads you down the path weaving his tale with savvy vocal stylings and creates a great mood for each song he sings including a heartfelt ode to his girlfriend Stephanie called "The Girl I've Always Loved".

Harmonica alpha male Tom "T Bone Steak" Molinelli grabs your attention anytime he whips the air through his blazing harmonica solos. He is a force to be reckoned with and is featured throughout this album.

Guitarists Chris "Haircut" Arntzen and Nick Bilich do an outstanding job of blending a variety of guitar and mandolin sounds and create an atmosphere of intrigue while blowing your mind as they deliver lick after tasty lick.

Completing the band is the free spirited and monstrously talented Still Time rhythm section featuring legendary drummer and percussionist John Vucinich who is an unstoppable force and Paul Smith-Stewart who is affectionately known as Pablo to his adoring fans. Pablo is one of those special musicians who is comfortable sitting back in the pocket letting others shine, but is always rock solid on with his playing. His grooves permeate the music and send those who worship the bottom end into bass line bliss. With a constant smile on his face, he completes the trip and sends the sound over the top as far as I am concerned on songs like "The Fortune", "Come Alive", the title track "See America" and "Day Will Come". Pablo and the Still Time crew shine as bright as the morning sun on a hot summer day.

Do yourself a favor and take the Cowboy's advice on this one....RUN don't walk to their website www.stilltimemusic.com and purchase their latest CD or search Still Time on iTunes. Still Time is on the way up the musical ladder and will be here for a long time to come. After you get the CD, you will most definitely want to catch one of their energetic live performances.

They are currently on Summer Tour and are performing on the west coast with stops at The California Music Festival in Ventura on 7/3, The Redwood City Concert Series on 8/28 and Twiin Productions Santa Barbara West Beach Festival on 9/19.
But if you are really lucky, you will get to see them at their favorite venue in the world and their home, Downtown Brewing Company in San Luis Obispo where the house rocks like nowhere else thanks to Todd, Kory and Kip.
As you can probably tell, I am a big fan and see only big things happening for this great bunch of musicians, so catch them now before they blow up and it costs you a small fortune to see them.
