- New Orleans Musician Daniel Amedee Releases Live Versions Of Tracks From His Current Album
Austin, TX. (Top40 Charts/ iTunes) - Nearly ten years have passed since the modest release of "Out of the Silence" on CD. The initial (and only) run of the disk was sold out by 2003, and at that time Daniel Link saw no reason to put more copies of his "demo disk" as he calls it, on the market. He had just come out of the studio with his "Ghost Stories" CD, and was about to return to record "Color of Rain". But with 2008 drawing to a close and no new release date in sight for his next studio project, the time seemed right to celebrate the little "demo disk" EP that propelled Daniel Link into the Austin music scene and across the pages of Billboard.

The 1999 release of "Out of the Silence" featured 5 original songs by Link including: "Altar Boy" (which was re-cut on his 2005 "Color of Rain" CD), "I Still Need You Tonight", "Believe", Nature of Love" and "Constant Faithfulness." With the 2008 digital release listeners will also receive the brand new bonus track "Dance With Me" plus new liner notes written by Daniel.

This is a must buy for devoted Daniel Link fans. While the production quality barely met demo standards of the time, the songs are wonderful and Daniel's vocal performance is soft and warm. "Out of the Silence" is now available on iTunes and other digital music outlets.
