Music Video Airs on BET's "Video Gospel" on April 9th
Grammy Award nominee, Daryl Coley and his labelmates at Diego Music Group recently taped a performance in San Diego for their upcoming DVD that will be released later this year. Coley performed some of his signature songs, "Great Is Thy Faithfulness", "II Chronicles" and "Hallelujah, You're Worthy."
Coley's godson, Eddie Baltrip and his choir, Fulfillment brought the house down with their high-energy singles, "Try Him", "Moments of Worship" and "I Recommend Jesus." Baltrip was nominated for a Stellar Award for his project, "Daryl Coley Presents: Eddie Baltrip & Fulfillment." Diego Music Group's new female artists, Leah Shephard and Duena Watkins, also graced the stage to showcase their vocal talent.
Genea Luck of The American Diabetes Association gave a special presentation about the prevention and maintenance of the disease. The presentation, which will be included on the DVD, was geared toward the African American community and it coincides with Coley's campaign as one of their national spokespersons. A portion of the proceeds from the DVD sales will go to the American Diabetes Association. Clyde Williams, President of Diego Music Group says, "We're looking forward to releasing a visual presentation about the artists on Diego Music Group. In addition to blessing gospel music lovers with music from our label, DMG is honored to contribute to the ADA's tireless efforts of finding a cure for diabetes."
Reverend Daryl Coley is best known for his work with the Hawkins family and has appeared on more than 100 projects with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Ramsey Lewis, Nancy Wilson, Richard Smallwood and Philip Bailey. The California native has also won several Dove Awards and Stellar Awards.
