Sunshine" for free download. The genre-spanning track finds Tel Aviv's most innovative band incorporating everything from free jazz to prog rock in a lean five-and-a-half minute track. Since forming nine years ago, Eatliz has been building a strong cult following around the world. Playing what's been termed as "complicated pop," Eatliz features elements ranging from pop with a Middle Eastern edge to four on the floor guitar stomps. The result is a sound that calls to mind artists like Mr. Bungle, Bjrk and Portishead. In Tel Aviv, Eatliz has become known as one of the most successful and forward-thinking bands in the city's growing indie scene. They've also gained a reputation for eye-popping videos for songs such as "Attractive" and "Hey," the latter of which won the prestigious Spike Lee Award at 2009's Tribeca Film Festival. Eatliz also premiered their stunning new video for the song "Lose This Child" on PopMatters earlier this year. The video was directed by Yuval and Merav Nathan, who are known for their stunning stop motion animation, beautifully illustrated in the GRAMMY nominated video for "Her Morning Elegance" which has been viewed more than 17.5 million times.
