Emmanuel (Manny) Sandow Releases Debut Christmas Single "Wish List"
Midland, MI (Top40 Charts) Emmanuel (Manny) Sandow, aspiring singer, songwriter, actor and producer, realizes a special dream come true today, Tuesday, December 4th, 2012, with the debut release of his very first single entitled, "Wish List", available as a digital only download from iTunes, CDBaby.com, Amazon.com, and other online digital outlets. Manny penned and recorded his original Christmas song keeping the sounds fresh and contemporary, with a strong melody line, killer harmony vocals and a beat that makes you want to stand up and dance. In the spirit of the holidays and adding to the excitement, all net online proceeds will be given to the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan (HFM) for all the support they have shown Manny throughout the years. Manny was diagnosed with having Hemophilia Factor XIII Deficiency at the age of seven. Since then, he has made a trip to Detroit Children's Hospital every 4 weeks for a treatment that helps his blood clot.

Born two months pre-mature, Manny was very sick and his body was shutting down. Due to an umbilical cord that was improperly circumcised, at the age of 5, Manny had to undergo surgery. After the operation, Manny lost 60% of his blood internally and had to be rushed back to the hospital where they sent him to Detroit for more intense care. It took two years to figure out that Manny had a bleeding disorder. From the time of his diagnosis, he was introduced to the Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan. Manny hopes that through his song, "Wish List", he will inspire kids that having hemophilia does not have to hold them down. They, too, can follow their dreams and reach for the stars.

ABOUT HEMOPHILIA FOUNDATION OF MICHIGAN: The Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan strives to improve the quality of life for all people affected by hemophilia, Von Willebrand disease, other coagulation disorders, and related complications, including HIV/AIDS and hepatitis. The Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan offers numerous programs to support people living with bleeding and clotting disorders. The HFM has been supportive in educating families about the disease, conducting camps every summer for kids with hemophilia, and supplying bike helmets and medical tags. Manny has enjoyed camp, both as a camper and a counselor. They also have wonderful events for families, such as Springfest and Christmas parties. HFM began in 1956 as Hemophilia of Michigan, an all-volunteer chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation, to "promote the welfare of those afflicted with hemophilia or related hemorrhagic disorders." During the early years, HFM existed as part of the University of Michigan Hemophilia Treatment Center. The National Hemophilia Foundation amended its bylaws in 1996 to change its formal relationship with its chapters. As a result, HFM was granted its own 501(c)(3) status (federal tax exemption) in 1997 after many years of being under NHF's umbrella.
