NEW YORK (US Weekly/ Top40 Charts) - Former top-10 tennis star Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias were married in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, a few weeks ago, Us Weekly reported.
"Everything is awesome. We are married," the magazine quotes Kournikova as saying at a charity tennis event in Florida Sunday.

Anna Kournikova has been married before, to Russian hockey player Sergei Fedorov, but she denied this as well. However, this was confirmed when Fedorov divorced Kournikova shortly afterwards!

Apparently, officials have no record of their wedding in Puerto Vallarta or Nuevo Vallarta, and if they had a religious ceremony in Mexico, it would not be legally accepted.
The Russian beauty has shown to be quite "protective" of Iglesias in public and maybe Enrique is being cautious before taking the final step? Perhaps he is worried that she might "change her serve" once the wedding ring is on?
