She begin to teach herself the piano and study foreign languages as a young child because she loved music from different cultures and regions of the world.
Emine was diagnosed with blood cancer, also known as leukemia, about 10 years ago and was told she only had a few short months to live. However, she has overcome this cancer and now lives a life freed from the complications and fears of sickness.
She has already becoming a huge success in Japan. During her struggle with cancer, Emine relocated to Japan. This is where her singing career had its birth. She participated and succeeded in various musical competitions and eventually went on tour with Matsumoto Band. Sari has already released one CD, and is currently in the UK working on her newest album.

Emine SARI enjoys smashing together different types of music into her own, unique style.'If you had the chance to listen to my music you can understand that I don't write my songs in just one style. Sometimes it's rock (this time I want to be loud and I want people to hear me), sometimes pop (this time I try to explain maby one of my experience) and sometime it's kind of blues/ jazz/ soul (my last emotions about my life)', Sari explains in interview with KOvideo.
Emine is currently nominated in the UK for more awards with her song 'I Change My Mind' which will be released shortly with a new music video. She worked with a talented producer Dominik Johnson from UK, who had recorded some Spanish Guitar parts for her song.
―I belive I can be a kind of inspiration for people who live with cancer!!!‖ Emine Sari still is not quite where she would like to be, but she has already begun to live out her dreams and taste the satisfaction hard work brings by sticking with it even when things felt like they were going nowhere or when it meant spending 10 hours in a studio.
'I CAN FLY' video: is a beautiful ballad that gradually transitions to an 80s-type rock ballad. 'I CAN FLY' single was recorded in Turkey at The Studio Ambiance in early 2011 and produced of long-time friend and producer Cihat Atlig. The song was defined by Emine SARI's beautiful melodies, profound lyrics and stunning vocals. Wonderful introduction - piano and flute work perfectly together. Also Emine SARI's accent adds the charm of the song.

Her latest single is called 'Welcome To Bursa': Emine SARI just released a new song 'Welcome To Bursa' in four languages, English, Russian, Japanese and Turkish, inspired by Turkish city BURSA. 'The song is really inspiring, I just want to show people that there is no borders for music, it is not important which languages you speak', says Emine. Emine used different instruments in her song like turkish darbuka russian balalaika and many more. She tried to smash together not just different languages but also a different types of cultures. Further preserving the various local cultures, Emine even sings some of the lyrics in the local languages. This song is really unique. She also dresses in local costume for some shots in the clip. The video kept short and interesting. The consept of the video also inspired by BURSA and was shoot in 3 days.
