Sydney, AUSTRALIA (SONY BMG Music Entertainment)-Helena Paparizou, winner of the Eurovision 2005 competition, is touring Australia this month with three magnificent shows planned for Sydney and Melbourne. Fresh from supporting global powerhouse Anastacia in Sweden, Helena is ready to bring her sensational live show to Australia.

Helena Paparizou is performing in Sydney on Friday 16th September at the Superdome, and Melbourne on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th September at QBH. She will be traveling and performing with well known Greek artist, Nikos Kourkoulis.

Friday morning sees Helena appear on breakfast programme Sunrise (Channel 7) so be sure to tune in to see her perform!

The large multicultural community within Australia has shown enormous enthusiasm for ethnic artists, and Helena's popularity in Australia has sky rocketed since the Eurovision win.

The Greek sensation secured the title by beating 23 contestants from around the globe, and 120 million viewers tuned in to watch her take the crown. Helena's song 'My Number One' secured her own number one place in the international music world.
The patriotic Greek girl, born in Sweden, defines the competition's values of uniting nations.

Nick Giannopoulous, well known Greek Australian comedian announced, "It is so exciting to have such a talented international artist come to Australia, to perform for the Greek and Australian community."
