Hip Hop USA Sneaker Art Expo
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Global Arts Coalition) The first Hip Hop USA Sneaker Art Expo, a celebration of the newest craze in original handmade street and fine art designs created live on blank white canvas Hip Hop USA sneakers will be held Thursday, July 21st at The Gym in Soho, 263 Mulberry Street between Houston and Prince street from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. Hip Hop USA Sneaker Art Expo is the largest live sneaker art event of its kind. Dozens of legendary and emerging artists creating sneaker art live, to buy sell and trade. The most incredible art on sneakers you have ever seen! This event is free!

Performing on stage during the Sneaker Art Expo is Nickodemus of TurnTables on the Hudson, featuring Stimulus & Malik Work of The Real Live Show. They'll be premiering and showing the music video for their recently released single NY Minute, by Nickodemus featuring The Real Live Show, Sadat X, Rabbi Darkside, and IllSpokinn.

Sneakerfreaks, fashion boutiques, art patrons and artists of all levels will have the opportunity to walk away in sneaker art pieces created by Hip Hop USA artists with proceeds benefiting Global Artists Coalition, a non-profit organization that provides program themes that are attractive to youth who have not responded well to non-creative approaches. GAC uses Hip Hop as a tool for education and provides information on important topics pivotal to successful adult transformation, including career development, health concerns, financial literacy, political awareness and more.

HIP HOP USA LIMITED EDITION SNEAKERS ON DISPLAY
Join us as we celebrate the first 1970s and 1980s subway graffiti artists and young emerging artists commissioned for limited edition sneaker deals through Hip Hop USA.

Legendary subway graffiti artists include Ale one, Stayhigh 149, Jester, Slave, Jee 2, Sen One, AZ, Ton, Paser, Duke 9, Shadow

On display, winners from 2010-11 Hip Hop USA Sneaker Art Battles including Kuro, Che, Leos and more

Samples on display for presentation to buyers, gallery owners, boutiques and art patrons

Sneaker Artists on hand to tag your new favorite kicks with custom creations with proceeds benefitting Global Artists Coalition!

We will also be conducting a live Subway Series sneaker art workshop and Sneaker Art Battle competition for artists of all ages and abilities as we continue our search for the next limited edition sneaker artists. Markers and sneakers supplied by Hip Hop USA. No purchase necessary to participate. Limited Edition winners receive $250 cash prize and commission on the sale of their limited edition sneaker art creation. Markers and white Hip Hop USA canvas sneakers supplied. Artists are encouraged to bring accessories and materials to make their sneaker art stand out from the pack.
