New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Girlie Action Media & Marketing) - Do You Party? EP Due Out July 27; Full-length Album Slated for Fall. Voted 'Best Band' in Miami New Times' 'Best of Miami 2010'. Download 'Two Different Worlds' from the EP HERE.

Miami-based duo Cuci Amador and Smurphio formed Afrobeta in 2006, and have quickly risen to the heights of popularity in their hometown of Miami - no small feat for a town that is somewhat segregated musically. But one listen to the 4 songs on their upcoming EP Do You Party? and it's easy to see why their deft blend of heavy bass and lush, groove-heavy pop has captured the adoration of the locals. 'In a splintered local musical climate....Afrobeta is beloved by all,' notes the Miami New Times.

Together, the band built their fanbase the last few years with their electrifying stage show, and singles 'That Thing' and 'Nighttime,' complete with a scorching hot music video for the latter. Amador also took some time out to co-write and supply vocals on a track featured on the eight-time Latin Grammy and award-winning Calle 13 album Los De Atras Vienen Conmigo. Their performance at 2009's Ultra Music Festival was so impressive that the festival co-founder/organizer Russell Faibisch, along with partner Charlie Faibisch, signed the band to their newly started record label Do IT Entertainment.

Now Afrobeta is ready to take their joyous beats and dazzling live shows across the nation and abroad! Their first release on the label will be an EP, Do You Party?, which contains an undeniable swagger, combining funky synths, head-bopping basslines, and sassy lyrics with plenty of attitude. The EP includes tracks like the crowd-favorite lead single 'Play House,' and the dark dance-pop tune 'Two Different Worlds' which you can snag for free HERE. The band releases their debut full-length this fall.

US tour dates will be announced shortly, but in the meantime if you are headed to Glastonbury or party-central Space Ibiza later this month make sure to check out their must-see live performance!
