New York, NY. (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - James Morrison, the dynamic British soul star, will close out 2008 with a flurry of activity and kick off 2009 with tour dates, festivals, and more, celebrating the release of his new album 'Songs For You, Truths For Me' (Interscope/Polydor).

Morrison, whose signature raw, bluesy voice has captivated audiences, emerged as a major breakthrough success last year. His debut 'Undiscovered' reached No 1 in Britain, Top 20 in America and won him the 2007 Brit Award for Best Male (he was also nominated for Best Single and Best Newcomer).

Morrison's stature has risen worldwide since he was crowned the biggest selling British male solo artist of 2006 and 'Undiscovered' went gold or better in 13 different countries.
