Orange Bowl Committee, announced the addition of Jason Derülo to the line-up of the 2nd annual
Orange Drive Miami Beach
Music Festival which also includes Ne-Yo, Cee Lo Green, Pete Wentz and
Black Cards, Boyz II Men, Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship,
Jermaine Dupri (DJ Set), DJ Samantha Ronson, DJ Irie and more.
Orange Drive is a three-day event from December 30 to January 1 taking place on the sands of
Ocean Drive (between 7th and 9th Streets) and offers locals and tourists the unique opportunity to be part of the largest New Year's Eve beach festival in the world.
Orange Drive will be broadcast LIVE by HDNet (www.hd.net). Hosts include key note speaker and branding guru Daymond John on New Year's Eve, actress and host Lana Tailor, and correspondent Katie Daryl.
Miami native Jason Derülo has produced albums for several artists and has written songs for Cash Money Records, Birdman,
Young Money Entertainment owner
Lil Wayne and rapper Diddy. Derülo released his debut single, "
Whatcha Say" in May 2009, which sold over five million digital downloads worldwide, gaining an RIAA certification of double platinum, and reaching number 1 in the US and New Zealand. Jason also released his second single, "
In My Head", in December 2009. In addition, his debut second studio album, "
Future History" was recently released in September.
