New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Singer-songwriter-pianist Jenny Jarnagin to release her new EP titled Heart Percent on September 9. Featuring five new songs that blend strong grooves, driving beats, modern electronic sounds with her unique vocal style.
On the songs Jenny draws from a deep well of emotional insight and melodic craft. One can identify a balance of darkness and light through her use of rich harmonies, introspective melodies and lyrical honesty.
Jenny�s proven herself equally adept at belting out full-throttle, female empowering songs like �It's Not Right� and �It�s Time� as she is crooning big arena-sized power ballads such as �Like A River,� and �When Love Is Gone.� Rounding out the wide variety of sounds on the EP is the electronically infused �Stand On.� With her beguiling voice Jarnagin makes music that's both earthy and sophisticated.
Currently based in Phoenix, AZ Jenny already has a powerful body of work under her belt with 10 previously released albums.
Born in the small town of Sayre, Oklahoma, her passion for music emerged early in life, when she began playing the family piano by ear at the age of three. She pursued her muse in earnest after her family relocated to British Columbia, becoming a church pianist when she was seven and subsequently studying at the Conservatory of Music in Victoria. When she reached college age, Jenny's talents earned her the opportunity to spend a summer studying at the Conservatory of Music in St. Petersburg, Russia. That experience proved to be a life-changing one, broadening her outlook and sharpening her musical skills. Jenny graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors Degree in Piano Performance, before spending some time teaching at Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona and pursuing a Master's Degree in Music Education at Northern Arizona University.
